The First Day of School

School started Monday August 25th! We were so excited for school to start that we were all ready 45 minutes early! Below are everyone's thoughts on the day.

Dave: I think I have pretty good classes. I gave a test for the first day of school. Unfortunately, I am already a day behind in my lesson plans.

Shelsie: There is a saying about Kindergarten that goes like this, "Kindergarten in September is like giving birth - you forget what it is like or you would never do it again." Overall the day went well. I think I will have a great year and a great class. However, we sure do have a lot to learn this year!

Jenni: I had a lot of fun on my first day of school. I really like my teachers. I have 2 teachers. I like how my math teacher taught us about some of the things we will be doing in math. Mr. Stacy told us his expectations for us and we got to tell him our expectations of him as a teacher. I made some new friends named Reagan and Ethan.

Lucas: I thought school was great today. My teacher's name is Mrs. Snow. I think she is very nice. I made a friend called Aldo. I think I am going to like 2nd Grade.
