FHE

So we had Family Home Evening tonight. We are unable to have it on the traditional Mondays due to scheduling so it usually happens on a Saturday. Tonight we bought the game LIFE and played it as a family. Playing the game was very insightful and a little frightening.

Dave chose the career path, no family and became a millionaire. I choose a career that didn't make a lot but was o.k. I ended up having many kids and took no risks. At the end of the game I had no debt but very little money. Jenni chose not to go to college, get married and have kids. However, she seemed to do all right and ended up with more than me. Lucas went to college and financially did pretty well. However, he put his wife in the back of the car so "he wouldn't have to listen to her talk about the problems all the time" and was very disappointed that he only had girls.

Playing the game was a real eye opener and led to great conversation about life. We had a lot of fun playing!
