We went to the Oregon Coast for vacation. We stayed in an awesome yurt in Seaside. The yurt was on private land with a private pond and stream. Inside the yurt had a full kitchen and bathroom with granite counter tops, garden tub and everything you could ever want! We enjoyed the shops in Seaside. Dave and I really enjoyed the seafood. We partook of crab legs, a bucket of clams, clam chowder at Mo's and fish and chips. We also went to Tillamook, toured the cheese factory and then drove to Cape Mears Lighthouse. We spent a day at Fort Clatsop which was beautiful and fun. The kids enjoyed dressing up like Lewis & Clark and seeing first hand the things they have learned in school. Our last day there we went to Cannon Beach and played in the ocean. We also went to Haystack Rock and played in the tide pools. We found a huge starfish, a crab and many sea anemones. The vacation was absolutely perfect!
